Call script software that runs inside your dialer

Call script software puts the right words in front of a rep at the right moment of a call. BeastCaller does it inside the dialer. You build your script once as a Call Flow (phases, cards and branches), and every rep runs it on every call, in the same browser tab they dial from. When the prospect says "we already have someone for that", the answer is one glance away instead of buried on page three of a Google Doc.

What good call script software has to do

Most scripts fail for boring reasons: they live in another tab, they only go one direction, and every rep has a different version. Whatever tool you pick, check it against this list:

  1. It branches with the conversation. Real calls jump from the opener straight to an objection. A script that only scrolls top to bottom can't follow them.
  2. It sits next to the dial button. Every tab switch is a pause the prospect can hear.
  3. It's the same for every rep. Change a line once and every caller gets the new version.
  4. Objection answers are one glance away. No searching while the prospect waits.
  5. It sits next to the lead's details. The rep sees who they're talking to and what to say in one view.
  6. Managers can hear it. Recordings let you coach against the script, not from memory.

How Call Flows work in BeastCaller

Phases. Split the call into stages, for example Opener, Reason, Discovery, Pitch, Objections, Close and Voicemail. You name them. In the live call console, the ← and → arrow keys move between phases.

Cards. Each card has a title, the line or talk track, and a trigger that tells the rep when to use it, for example "They say: we already have an agency".

Live cards (⚡). Lines the rep says live, in their own words or read from the card. Most of a good script is Live cards.

Logic Splits. Two to four cards side by side, one for each likely answer, such as Has a website / No website or Decision-maker / Not the decision-maker. The rep sees the right response for each answer at a glance.

Number keys and recorded clips. Every card in the active phase that isn't a Live card gets a number key by its position: 1–9, then F1–F12, up to 21 per phase. The keys are the same on every call, so reps learn where each card sits. A rep can record or upload an approved clip on a card; pressing the card's key plays or stops that clip in the call, and Esc stops it. The keys don't move the rep through the script: the arrow keys switch phases.

Pre-recorded audio in calls is regulated in many markets (e.g. US TCPA/TSR, UK PECR, Germany UWG). Only use it where you have the required consent.

One flow per campaign. Each campaign runs its own Call Flow, so a web-design client and an SEO client never share a script by accident. That's how agencies run one campaign per client. Owners and Admins build the flows and choose which Agents use each one.

Here is what a simple flow looks like:

Phase 1 · Opener
  ⚡ Permission opener
Logic Split: how did they respond?
⚡ "What's this about?" (give the reason, R1)
⚡ "Not interested" (objection answer X1)
⚡ "I'm in a meeting" (agree a time to call back)
Phase 3 · Discovery
⚡ D1 How do new customers find you today?
Logic Split: Mostly referrals / Mostly Google / Don't know
Phase 5 · Objections
⚡ X1 "Not interested" (trigger: they say it in the first 30 seconds)
⚡ X2 "Send me an email" (trigger: they want to end the call politely)
⚡ X3 "How much is it?" (trigger: price before value)

Want a finished example? Our script templates are written as Call Flows, with branch labels you can copy card by card: the web design cold call script, the SEO services script and the appointment setter scripts. More in the template library.

Scripts that don't sound read

The fear with any script is that reps sound robotic. That comes from paragraphs, not from structure. Write your Call Flow for the ear:

  • One idea per card. A card is a prompt, not a speech. If a card needs scrolling, split it.
  • Write it the way your best caller says it. Record a few of their calls and transcribe the lines that land.
  • Use Live cards for anything personal. The opener and discovery questions work best in the rep's own words, with the card as a guardrail.
  • Review recordings weekly. Listen for the moments reps leave the flow. Either the rep needs coaching or the card needs rewriting.

How BeastCaller compares with other ways to script calls

Approach Branches? Inside the dialer? Same for every rep? Notes
Google Doc or PDF No No Only if everyone opens the latest copy Free and familiar
Text scripts inside a dialer Depends on the dialer Yes Yes Often plain text, sometimes with fields for contact details
Branching scripts in a dialer (e.g. CallHub) Yes Yes Yes Built around question-and-response flows for political, advocacy and business calls
Decision-tree tools (e.g. Zingtree) Yes No, runs alongside your phone system Yes Built for contact centers and support
BeastCaller Call Flows Yes (phases and 2–4-way Logic Splits) Yes Yes Optional one-key clips, a queue dialer and team pricing in one tool

Branching scripts aren't new, and we won't pretend they are. BeastCaller's angle is the combination: branching Call Flows on every rep's screen, optional one-key clips inside the same flow, a queue dialer around it, and team pricing ($49 a month for 3 callers).

Build your first Call Flow in one sitting

  1. Start with your best call. Write down what your best rep says in the first 30 seconds. That's your opener card.
  2. Add phases for the stages of your call.
  3. List the five objections you hear most. Give each one a card, a trigger and two answers.
  4. Add Logic Splits where the call really forks: decision-maker or not, has a provider or not.
  5. Pick the flow for your campaign in the call console and make a few calls yourself.
  6. Fix what felt awkward, then roll it out. Reps get the change the next time they open the call console.

Limits worth knowing

  • You write the script. BeastCaller doesn't generate scripts or suggest lines during the call.
  • The rep steers. The flow doesn't listen to the call; the rep picks the next card.
  • Keys run out at 21 per phase. Split big phases; the editor warns you when a phase has more cards than keys.
  • Logic Splits branch 2–4 ways, with one card per branch. They don't nest.
  • Clips belong to each rep. Every rep records or uploads their own.
  • Recorded clips are regulated in many markets (see the note above). Live cards aren't.

Not the right fit if you need decision trees for an inbound support desk, or AI that writes and adapts scripts for you.

Frequently asked questions

What is call script software?

Software that shows reps what to say during a call, ideally with branches for different answers and objections. BeastCaller builds this into the dialer as Call Flows.

Can a call script branch?

Yes. In BeastCaller, Logic Splits put 2–4 answer cards side by side, and phases let the rep jump from the opener straight to objections or the close.

Do reps have to memorize the script?

No. The current phase's cards are on screen during the call, with triggers that say when to use each one. The goal is for reps to stop reading and use the cards as prompts, with the exact wording there when they need it.

Can I use my existing script?

Yes. Paste each part of your script into its own card, group the cards into phases, and add Logic Splits where the call forks.

Is it included in every plan?

Yes. Call Flows are in every plan. See pricing.

Can reps play recorded audio from the script?

Yes. A rep can record or upload an approved clip on a card and play it with the card's number key. Pre-recorded audio in calls is regulated in many markets (e.g. US TCPA/TSR, UK PECR, Germany UWG). Only use it where you have the required consent.
